Terms and Conditions

What you agree to when you hire Wiltshire Wild Place:

Stretch tent hire - terms and conditions (summary)

  • Booking: Your date is secured with a deposit, with the balance due ahead of your event. The premises must only be used for the purpose agreed at the time of booking (no sub-letting is permitted).

  • Hire times: Hire periods and access times are agreed in advance—please include time for set-up and clear-down. The space must be vacated promptly by the agreed time.

  • Looking after the space: Please treat the tent and surrounding area with care, and leave it tidy at the end of your hire.

  • Guest responsibility: The hirer is responsible for the supervision of the premises, its fabric and contents, and the behaviour of all persons using the space during the hire period.

  • Fires & candles: Only use fires in agreed outdoor areas—no naked flames inside the tent (unless agreed with us). No smoking or vaping is permitted inside the tent.

  • Noise: We’re in a peaceful countryside setting, so we ask that noise is kept to a respectful level, especially in the evening. Please speak to us beforehand if you’d like to have music.

  • Usage: The hire of the space does not permit the sale of alcohol or the use of illegal substances. We ask that all events are run responsibly and in line with UK law.

  • Waste: Please take all rubbish with you, unless agreed otherwise.

  • Damage: Any damage to the tent or site may need to be repaired or replaced at your cost.

  • Parking: Vehicles are parked at your own risk. Wiltshire Wild Place cannot accept responsibility for any loss, theft or damage to vehicles or personal belongings.

  • Insurance: The hirer may be required to hold appropriate public liability insurance, particularly for commercial events.

  • Weather: As an outdoor space, plans may be affected by the weather. For safety, the stretch tent should not be used during severe, adverse weather, including very high winds and lightning storms. In these conditions, we may need to pause or close the space. We closely monitor the weather and will be in touch with you as soon as we hear this could be an issue.

  • Cancellations: Deposits are non-refundable, but we’ll always try to help if you need to move your date. We request seven full days’ notice for a full refund and five days’ notice for a 50% refund.

We regret that we can’t give a refund if it’s less than 5 days’ notice, unless it’s an exceptional circumstance.

If you wish to cancel or reschedule, please email us: hello@wiltshirewildplace.co.uk with your booking details including your full name, e-mail address, date/time booked, and your preferred option for refund or rescheduling.

  • Wiltshire Wild Sauna and Park Farm Campsite: if you hire either of these facilities, please refer to their specific terms and conditions.

  • The owners reserve the right to refuse or cancel a booking in certain circumstances.

For full terms or to talk through your plans, please get in touch—we’re always happy to help.
