Meet the women behind Wiltshire Wild Place
About us
Meet Laura
Laura brings over 20 years of experience as an award-winning BBC broadcaster and event host, along with almost five years as a therapist. She has a natural ability to hold space, guide groups and help people get the most from shared experiences. She is also one of a small number of trained sauna masters in the UK, skilled in creating thoughtful and immersive sauna rituals.
A long-time sauna enthusiast and outdoor swimmer, contrast therapy has been a constant source of support throughout her career—particularly during 3am starts, and more recently during cancer treatment. In the midst of chemotherapy, and with a determination to keep embracing life, Laura and Zoë (who are sisters-in-law) built Wiltshire Wild Sauna (2024), followed by Wiltshire Wild Place (2025), with the incredible support of family and friends.
For Laura, wellness isn’t a trend—it’s essential. She believes good health underpins everything, and she is committed to helping others take care of themselves and feel well.
Meet Zoë
Zoë is an experienced host who runs several successful hospitality businesses. With a background in landscape architecture, she brings a strong eye for detail, flow and atmosphere—creating spaces that feel welcoming, thoughtfully designed and a pleasure to spend time in.
Alongside Wiltshire Wild Place, Zoë co-runs the neighbouring campsite. She has a deep love of the outdoors, with gardening and working closely with the land bringing her immense joy. Immersed in the local countryside—among the woods and farmland—there are few places she would rather be.
Together, Zoë and Laura share a strong belief in the importance of family, community and meaningful connection. This ethos sits at the heart of Wiltshire Wild Place: a space where people can slow down, come together and feel part of something simple and restorative.
